Dry bags & waterproof bags

Dry bags and waterproof bags: keep your gear dry on the water. Delivery across Europe and always the lowest price at Europe's SUP specialist.

Nothing is more annoying than a wet phone or soaked dry clothes after a day of paddling. A dry bag, also called a waterproof bag, keeps your belongings guaranteed dry, even if you unexpectedly end up in the water. It's the one accessory that should never be missing from any SUP adventure.

How does a dry bag work?

A dry bag is made from waterproof material with a special roll-top closure: you roll the top down a few times and clip it shut, so no water or air can get in. The trapped air also keeps the bag floating if it goes overboard. Ideal for your phone, keys, wallet and a dry layer of clothing.

Which size do you need?

For just your phone and keys, a compact 5 to 10 litre bag is enough. If you're bringing clothing, lunch and a towel, choose 20 litres or more. Many dry bags have carry straps so you can wear them as a backpack or attach them to the D-rings on your board.

How to use a dry bag on your board

Before sealing, squeeze out as much air as possible and roll the top down at least three times for a watertight closure. Then clip the buckles shut and secure the bag with its strap or a carabiner to the D-rings at the front of your board. That keeps it in place, even if you go overboard.
